Screech Owl & Kestrel House
Entice screech owls and kestrels to nest in the shelter of your neighborhood park. Eastern screech owls are known for their mysterious loud trilling vocalizations and fantastic camouflage, these pint-sized owls live as monogamous pairs and blend into backyard environments. Exhibiting different colors (gray, red) they can be heard in evenings and spotted during the day perching in their nesting sites.
North American Kestrels are America’s smallest and most colorful falcon. Kestrels have adapted to urban life eating insects and small rodents. Their numbers are decreasing but local conservation efforts have been successful in preserving these incredible little birds.
