The City of Akron, in partnership with Akron Parks Collaborative, hosted its annual Akron Parks Week to celebrate, improve, and utilize Akron’s public spaces. Sponsored by Davey Tree Expert Company, volunteers planted 100 trees at Erie Island Park and Joy Park on Oct. 3 and 4.
