A Friends Group (FG) is an open and inclusive team of community members committed to stewarding, improving, programming, and/or advocating for their neighborhood park. By investing time and effort toward initiatives like service projects, fun events, and capital improvements, FGs support the sustainability of vibrant and welcoming park spaces. Their engagement fosters deeper connections between neighbors, builds community identity, and increases neighborhood property values. APC manages a broader Friends Group Network, which connects individual groups to one another and provides opportunities to share information and resources across the city.
