Memorial Giving and Wildlife Opportunities

Join Akron Parks Collaborative as we enhance our neighborhood parks by sponsoring a memorial or wildlife opportunity. Founded in 2018, Akron Parks Collaborative is a nonprofit working to engage the community around the creation and sustainability of vibrant public spaces within City of Akron parks.

Meaningful tribute options include:

Picnic tables
Benches
Bird houses
Butterfly houses
Screech owl and kestrel houses
Insect houses

DONATION FORM

Hyre/Lions Park Fundraising Campaign

Hyre and Lions Park are both beloved neighborhood parks in the Ellet neighborhood. Several neighbors teamed up with Hyre CLC, the Ellet Community Center and the Ellet Library Branch to dream about needed upgrades to the park that would support neighborhood vibrancy.
